The Eczema Page

Eczema is an issue we have battled for a decade. My thoughts on this topic have been all over the map, but I think I finally understand exactly what ‘eczema’ really is.

First, eczema is just a name given. It doesn’t really describe the true auto-immune dysfunction happening in the body.

The normal escape route for toxins is through waste, but when the bowels don’t work due to a comped gut from too many antibiotics or auto-immune assaults, when the liver isn’t properly detoxifying and getting waste out, and when the kidneys don’t filter well, the body has no choice but to move toxins out of the body through the skin. The physical and visible sign of this on the skin is dubbed eczema.

Until the the gut is healed, the bowels function, and the liver works properly the condition remains chronic.

In my experience steroid creams make it worse because the steroid simply shoves the very toxins trying to escape, right back into the body. Worse problems arise like environmental allergies, food allergies, asthma, arthritis, hypothyroidism, maybe even autism.

Understanding eczema this way can alert us like the the body body waving a huge, red flag that the liver and kidneys are not functioning properly, the gut and bowels are a hot mess, and there may even be infections of parasites, pathogens, or Lyme/co infections lying underneath can help us have a paradigm shift and truly heal the whole body.

Supporting the liver, the kidneys, healing the gut, getting rid of infections, and reducing inflammation can all be done with natural herbs, homeopathics, and a clean diet.

Getting rid of inflaming food allergens and pesticide-laden food plays a part because it will help reduce over-all inflammation.

Staying away from contact allergens such as toxic soap, cleaners, and other chemicals is important too, but for reasons than you might not think. Obviously the skin would be sensitive and perhaps there is some contact dermatitis, but honestly, it’s the liver on the inside that will not be able to detoxify the chemicals ingested through the skin or respiratory systems. So those toxins need to come back out, but will choose the skin route over the normal waste route when body systems are down.

Eczema is from the inside out, not the outside in.
